Upstreamâs Data, Analytics and Technology (DAT) team works cross-functionally to ensure software, hardware, and data function optimally while leading improvement projects that shape the business and promote organizational effectiveness, efficiency, and data-driven decision making. The team also supports Upstreamâs growing, organization-wide use of AI.
This role exists to expand the teamâs capacity to deliver. Reporting to the Manager of Data, Analytics, Technology & Security, the Sr. Analyst, Technology & Project Management partners closely with the DAT leadership team and colleagues across Upstream to own and move forward the work that keeps initiatives shipping: project management, data analysis and reporting, and the hands-on execution in between the planning and the doing, and adds a versatile, technically capable partner who can both plan the work and do it.

Job Summary
Donegal Insurance Group has an opening for a SIU Desk Investigator that is part of the Special Investigation Unit. As a member of our Claims team, this position will be responsible for overseeing the handling of claim cases and investigative support that require special investigative skills and experience. Some travel may be required. The position will require extensive database inquiries to assist the claims department in the resolution of claims as well as investigating suspicious insurance claims and insurance related activity. This position will require conducting interviews and recorded statements as well as pre-surveillance assessments. The SIU Desk Investigator will perform extensive open source social media investigations and comprehensive investigative inquiries. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong PC skills, strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently are required.
This position is physically based in the Marietta, PA office with transition to a hybrid schedule upon successful completion of training.

Starting Pay:Â The pay range for this position is $70,000 to $80,000 annually. The specific offer will vary based on an applicantâs education, qualifications, professional experience, skills, abilities, and any applicable designations/certifications. The posted pay range reflects our ability to hire at different position titles and levels depending on background and experience. The pay range may also be adjusted based on an applicantâs geographic location.
The base pay is just one component of Donegalâs total compensation package for employees. This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
